Several important news in final report from the securities market inquiry.

On 29 January 2015 the securities market inquiry presented the report "Värdepappersmarknaden, MiFID II och MiFIR" (SOU 2015:2) with proposals on changes to Swedish law necessary in order to implement MiFID II and MiFIR. The inquiry has in addition proposed changes to establish uniform regulations for financial advice and investment advice that is not directly a result of the EU law. The proposal will generally result in substantial changes to the legal framework for the securities market and primary in changes to the Swedish Securities Market Act (2007:528).
