Gernandt & Danielsson has advised Betsson AB (publ) (“Betsson”) in connection with its acquisition of betFIRST Group, which operates a sports betting and gaming business in Belgium.

betFIRST is a leading B2C operator in the regulated online gaming market in Belgium, with licenses for sportsbetting and dice games. betFIRST has employees in Luxembourg, Belgium and Malta.

The total consideration amounts to EUR 120 million (including an earnout of EUR 3 million).
