Gernandt & Danielsson has advised Swedish Electromagnet Invest AB (publ) (“SEM”) in a restructuring of SEM’s outstanding SEK 350 million senior secured bonds. The restructuring included, among other things,  an extension of maturity, renegotiated terms and conditions and interest rates under of the bonds. The restructuring has resulted in SEM being able leave the proceedings with a long-term financing solution in place.

SEM is a leading global supplier with over 100 years of industrial experience and deep knowledge of electromagnetic applications. SEM produces advanced hydrogen and alternative fuel ignition systems, injector stators and linear position sensors for stationary engines and commercial vehicles, and small engine systems for forestry hand tools.
