Gernandt & Danielsson has advised GSG Genii Software Group GmbH (“Genii”) in connection with its acquisition of all shares in DataPolarna i Skellefteå AB. DataPolarna was founded in 1995 and is a consultancy company that specialises in developing efficient, customer-adapted and innovative software solutions for the sawmill and mining industries.

Genii, a portfolio company of the private equity firm Bregal Investments, provides market-leading, industry-specific software solutions. Genii’s turnover is EUR 340m and it has 2,400 employees in 16 countries.
